New Braunfels TX School Guide New Braunfels is home to many excellent schools, including public schools, private schools, and colleges. All members of the New Braunfels community are dedicated to challenging their students to reach their maximum potential, both academically and socially.
New Braunfels Public SchoolsNew Braunfels is served by the New Braunfels Independent School District and Comal Independent School District. The two districts are divided by the Guadalupe River. New Braunfels Private Schools Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School has served for more than 100 years as an outstanding education center for the community of New Braunfels and nearby areas. Many of the city’s leaders and prominent citizens are Sts. Peter and Paul alumni.
Cross Lutheran School was established with the primary purpose of strengthening children in their faith that they may grow in knowledge of their Savior, in love for Him, in service to Him, and; New Braunfels Christian Academy New Braunfels Christian Academy serves students in Pre K - 12th. NBCA is committed to providing an enriched academic program within a Christian environment, emphasizing the fulfillment of each student's potential. NBCA’s mission is to educate, motivate and disciple students in a Christ-centered environment. NBCA exists to help families raise their children to use their God-given gifts to the utmost potential. Calvary Baptist Academy Calvary Christian Academy began in 1981 as school for church members using the self-paced ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum. In 1998, the Lord blessed us by providing over thirteen acres of property just outside of New Braunfels. The church and school facilities moved to its present location on Klein road. In 2007, Calvary Baptist Church voted to expand its school by adopting the ABeka curriculum and start a Kindergarten. The ABeka curriculum will allow the Academy to fulfill its new vision to create Godly leaders and prepare students for higher education. New Braunfels CollegesTexas State University Texas State's 29,125 students choose from 109 bachelor’s, 88 master’s and eight doctoral degree programs offered by the following colleges: Applied Arts, McCoy College of Business Administration, Education, Fine Arts and Communication, Health Professions, Liberal Arts, Science, University College and the Graduate College. Central Texas Technology Center The CTTC center provides education to local communities and the regional area to help stimulate economic development utilizing workforce education. The CTTC further offers a wide range of academic, technical and continuing education programs to include the granting of Associate Degrees through the colleges of the ACCD. The Central Texas Technology Center is the regional workforce development center for New Braunfels, Seguin and the regional area. The CTTC will focus on training the local workforce in emerging occupations that stimulate economic development in New Braunfels, Seguin and the regional area. The CTTC will foster corporate and community partnerships to serve the region.
